Vivienne Westwood became a sensation when The Sex Pistols started wearing her outrageous designs. Her trademark safety pins, bondage gear, and outrageous hair – even good old Scottish tartan – captured an attitude and defined a generation. They’re still unmistakable today.
As a retailer, Vivienne Westwood has stuck to a policy of just a handful of boutique stores in desirable locations. There are three stores in London, plus others in cities such as Paris, Milan, Tokyo and Moscow. Opening in Glasgow’s Princes Square is her first venture north of the border.
