Timothy Oulton is a global furniture and homewares brand, available exclusively in Scotland at Princes Square. The story of Timothy Oulton started back in 1976 with an antiques shop near Manchester owned by Tim’s father, Major Philip Oulton. After leaving school, Tim went to work for his dad and soon fell in love with antiques, captivated by the heritage, craftsmanship, and stories imbued in each piece. It was an obsession that would lead him to create his own line of furniture, lighting, and accessories, taking inspiration from the past but adding his own unique twist to give them modern relevance.
Authentic materials are the starting point for every Timothy Oulton design. Only the finest and rarest materials are used, from South American leather finished purely by hand to organic, veg-dyed linens, ancient stones and crystals, and century-old reclaimed timber.
