Veganuary Princes Square
Are you doing Veganuary or are you tempted to go vegan in 2020? Restaurants in PS are offering some mouth-watering dishes to tempt you to try a plant-based diet: Restaurant Bar & Grill have a range of healthy dishes on offer including: starters of giant olives; tamarind glazed beetroot and superfood salads. They also have a vegan burger and for those who like a bit of spice, there’s Thai green curry.
On the vegan menu at New York Bar and Grill there’s a Moving Mountains Burger – a 100% plant protein-based burger, vegan bun, salad garnish, salsa and vegan cheese; sizzling vegan fajitas, roasted butternut squash risotto and vegan sandwiches.
If you’re in the mood for some Spanish cuisine, Barca have a selection of vegan tapas dishes. Choose from: rustic bread with dips, olives, mixed salad, patatas bravas, couscous salad, bean stews, sweet potato, parsnip and chickpeas in romesco sauce and padron peppers.
On the market menu in October, there’s bruschetta and Cajun spiced roasted pepper penne. On the main menu you can choose a salad bowl with edamame, quinoa and wild rice sweet potato; black bean burger, basil gnocchi or wild mushroom linguini.
Pizza Express have a Pianta cheese-free pizza on offer for vegans which contains: spinach, mushroom, pine kernels, artichoke, tomato, chilli flakes and finished with rocket.
Last but not least, Zizzi’s vegan menu features: beetroot beetballs, olives, vegan garlic bread, soup and bruschetta. On the pizza menu you can choose from: skinny jackfruit Italian hot pizza; vegan rustica zucca and vegan rustica margherita. Pastas on offer include: vegan spaghetti pomodoro; lentil linguine ragu and vegan pumpkin and sage tortelloni. Finish off your meal with a vegan dessert and choose from: golden millionaires slice; vegan gelato or plum and raspberry calzone.
